Signs of a defective card:

  • Does not work on any card reader
  • Numbers or data are illegible
  • Physical card is cracked or broken

Basic test:

  1. Try the card at different locations
  2. Check if the chip is clean and unscratched
  3. Test contactless payment (tap)

If the defect is confirmed:

  1. Open the app and cancel the card
  2. Still in the app, request a new one
  3. You can always create and use just the virtual card
