For security and regulatory compliance, Picnic only accepts deposits from accounts with the same CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer registry) as the account holder.

What happens in these cases

  • If the Pix comes from an account in someone else's name, the transaction will be automatically rejected.
  • The amount will be returned to the originating bank, usually within a few minutes or hours.
  • Even if the Picnic account holder has a CNPJ (Brazilian business registry) in their name, this type of transfer is also not accepted.

Practical summary
All deposits must come from a bank account with the same CPF or CNPJ as the Picnic account holder. Third-party transactions are refunded.
