This disclosure supplements and forms part of Picnic's Terms of use and Privacy policy; in the event of any conflict, the Terms of use prevail. By accepting, you confirm that you have read, understood, and assumed the risks described below.

Picnic is a self-custodial software interface. It is not a bank, a custodial exchange, or a financial institution, and it never holds, controls, or has custody of your crypto assets or your keys.

Self-custody and keys. You are solely responsible for your private key, recovery phrase (seed phrase), passkey, and devices. Picnic does not store them and cannot recover them: if you lose access, there is no way to restore your account or your assets.

Irreversibility. Blockchain transactions are final and cannot be cancelled or reversed โ€” not even by Picnic โ€” even in the case of error, scam, or theft. Always check the address, network, and amounts before signing. Operations on fiat rails (PIX, Card) are conducted by regulated partners and follow their own procedures.

Phishing and scams. Third parties may impersonate Picnic to obtain your credentials or trick you into approving transactions. Picnic never asks for your private key, passkey, or biometrics, and never confirms transactions outside the official app. Always verify the usepicnic.com domain.

Attacks, bugs, and failures. Blockchains, smart contracts, wallets, and infrastructure providers may suffer cyberattacks, exploits, and bugs, leading to partial or total loss of assets. The software is provided "as is", with no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and Picnic neither controls nor audits third-party protocols.

Stablecoins (depeg) and volatility. Stablecoins may lose their peg (depeg) suddenly and significantly. The value of crypto assets is volatile and may fall to a total loss; yield estimates are mere projections and may be null or negative. Yield features are tools for interacting with third-party protocols and do not constitute an investment product, the raising of savings, or an offering of securities. Picnic does not provide investment recommendations or financial or tax advice โ€” the decision to trade or allocate crypto assets is yours alone.

No guarantee and no insurance. The crypto assets accessed through Picnic are not covered by any guarantor fund (such as Brazil's FGC) or by any deposit insurance or equivalent government coverage. Any protocol cover offered by third parties within specific features, where it exists, has its own terms, limits, and exclusions, and does not guarantee the recovery of losses.

By accepting, you acknowledge that you understand and assume these risks.
