How to safely send crypto to Picnic, supported networks and common issues.

Always Use a New Address for Crypto Deposits (App)

To ensure your cryptocurrencies safely reach your card, the Picnic app uses unique deposit addresses generated by Relay. What is a Unique Deposit Address Whenever you decide to add balance to your card via crypto, the app generates a unique address for that transaction. This address acts as a temporary bridge to instantly identify your deposit. Why You Shouldn't Reuse a Previous Address Do not save old deposit addresses in your external wallet. You should generate a new address for each transfer for these reasons: - Network Changes: The old address may not be compatible if you switch the sending network (e.g., from Polygon to Base). - Fee Updates: Relay calculates network fees in real-time for each new request. - Security: Using a new address ensures our system identifies your balance without delays. Frequently Asked Questions What happens if I send a coin to the wrong network? Deposits made on different networks usually result in permanent loss of assets. If this happens, contact our support immediately. I sent unsupported coins or NFTs. What happens? Currently, we do not support the recovery of unlisted coins or NFTs sent to the deposit address. I sent a different amount than I entered in the app. What happens? Don't worry. Relay identifies the exact amount received and processes the deposit automatically based on that amount. I Can't Find the Crypto I Want to Deposit

If you tried to load your Picnic card with crypto and couldn't find the cryptocurrency you wanted to use in the list, it means that it is not supported by Picnic at this time. Why Doesn't My Crypto Appear? Some common reasons: - The cryptocurrency has not yet been integrated into Picnic; - The currency was temporarily removed due to technical or security issues; - The crypto only exists on networks that Picnic does not support today; - It is a very new or illiquid token, which increases operational risk. What Can I Do If My Crypto Is Not Supported? You have a few options: 1. Use another supported crypto - Check the available cryptocurrencies on the Picnic deposit screen; - Choose one of them to load your card. 2. Convert your crypto to another in your wallet/exchange - In your external exchange or wallet, convert the unsupported currency to one of the currencies supported by Picnic (for example, from XYZ to USDT or USDC, if those are available); - Then, make the crypto deposit normally using this new currency. 3. Keep an eye on future updates - We may add new cryptocurrencies in the future; - Whenever a new crypto is supported, it will appear directly in the app's list. In summary: if the currency does not appear in the list of cryptocurrencies when depositing, it is because it is not supported for deposit at Picnic. Only send cryptos that appear on the deposit screen.

How to Load Your Card with Crypto

There are two ways to load your Picnic card with crypto. Before you start, choose where the funds will come from: - A) I want to use the crypto that's already in my Picnic account (Portfolio / Multi-currency balance) → use Picnic Pro in your browser. - B) I want to send crypto from an external wallet or exchange (MetaMask, Binance, OKX, etc.) → use the Picnic app. A) Loading with the balance already in your Picnic account (web) If you already have crypto in your Picnic account (Portfolio / Multi-currency balance) and just want to move that balance to your card, use Picnic Pro in your browser. The balance lands on your card in seconds, with no external on-chain transfer needed. 1. Open app.usepicnic.com in your browser (this flow is not available in the mobile app yet); 2. Log in with your email and the verification code (OTP) sent to your email; 3. Go to the Picnic Card area and click Load Card; 4. Choose the asset (USDC, BRZ, etc.) and the amount you want to use from your balance; 5. Confirm the transaction. The converted amount appears in your Picnic card balance in $USD within seconds. B) Loading by sending crypto from an external wallet or exchange (app) If your crypto is in an external wallet (MetaMask, Trust, Phantom, etc.) or an exchange (Binance, Coinbase, OKX, etc.), use the Picnic app to generate a deposit address. The amount sent is converted into digital dollars ($USD) and added to your Picnic card balance. 1. Open the Picnic app - Open the app; - Log in with your email and the verification code (OTP) sent to your email. 2. Go to the card deposit area - On the home screen, enter the Picnic Card area; - Tap Deposit. 3. Choose the crypto deposit method - Select the Cryptocurrencies option. 4. Choose the currency and network - Select the cryptocurrency you want to use (USDT, USDC, BTC – if available); - Choose the correct network (Ethereum, BNB, Base, etc.), which should be the same one you'll use in the originating wallet or exchange. 5. View and confirm the rate - The app will show the estimated rate (how much this converts to digital dollars on the card) and any fees and limits; - Tap Confirm to generate the deposit request. 6. Wait for the wallet address to appear - The app will show a wallet address for sending and, sometimes, a QR Code with value and expiration time instructions; - Copy the address carefully. 7. Send the crypto from the originating wallet - Open your external wallet or exchange where the cryptocurrencies are; - Initiate a send/withdrawal, paste the address provided in the Picnic app, select the same currency and same network, and the same amount you entered in Picnic; - Confirm the transaction. 8. Wait for network confirmation - The confirmation time depends on the chosen network; - Once the deposit is confirmed, the converted amount appears in your Picnic card balance in $USD. Tip: always check the currency, network, and address before sending. Deposits sent with different information may not be credited.

Different Network Than Informed in Crypto Deposit

When loading your Picnic card with crypto, you must always choose the same network that will be used for the transfer from your wallet or exchange. If you send via a different network than the one chosen in the app, the deposit may not be identified and may not be credited to your card balance. Example of the Issue - In the Picnic app, you choose: - Currency: USDT - Network: Base - But on your exchange, you send: - Currency: USDT - Network: BSC In this case, even though it's "the same currency," the deposit won't match the request you created in Picnic. What Happens If I Use the Wrong Network? - The deposit may not be credited to your balance; - In practice, the funds may become stuck on the sent network; - In many cases, it is not possible to recover these funds. Picnic cannot guarantee the recovery of deposits sent: - Via the wrong network; - To addresses different from those informed in the app; - Outside the timeframe or with an amount significantly different from requested (when applicable). How to Avoid Network Issues Before sending crypto from your wallet or exchange, check: 1. Identical currency to the one shown in Picnic (e.g., USDC, USDT, BTC, etc.); 2. Exactly the same network as chosen in Picnic (e.g., Ethereum, Gnosis, Polygon, etc.); 3. Identical wallet address as shown in the app (copy and paste, do not type manually). If something is different, cancel the operation and create a new crypto deposit request in Picnic with the correct information.

Unsupported Crypto on the Card: What Is It?

When loading your Picnic card with cryptocurrencies, you can only use the coins and networks that appear in the app's list. If you try to use an unsupported crypto, the deposit will not be processed and the funds may not reach your balance. What Does “Unsupported Crypto” Mean? A cryptocurrency is considered unsupported when: - It does not appear in the list of available coins on the crypto deposit screen; - It is not compatible with the networks that Picnic supports at that time; - It has been temporarily or permanently removed for security, liquidity, or maintenance reasons. What to Do If Your Crypto Is Unsupported If you received the message or identified that the crypto is unsupported: 1. Do not send any amount to old addresses or from other platforms. 2. Check if there is a supported equivalent crypto (for example, another stablecoin or the same coin on another network). 3. If you are on an exchange or external wallet, you can: - Convert your crypto to one of the supported coins; - Then, redo the crypto deposit process on Picnic using the correct coin. Important: Deposits made in unsupported cryptocurrencies or networks may not be credited and may be irrecoverable. Always use only the coins and networks shown on the Picnic deposit screen.

I Loaded the Card with Crypto and Received a Much Lower Amount

Did you make a crypto deposit to the card and the amount received was much lower than what was sent from the other wallet? In most cases, this happens because the money had to cross different networks and was “eaten” by fees along the way. 1. What Happened Behind the Scenes When you send a crypto other than USDC.e through a network other than Gnosis, the system needs to do something more complex than a simple “send to another address”: 1. Move the amount on the origin network (e.g., leaving the Base network). 2. Pass through a cross-network bridge (to leave Base and reach Gnosis). 3. Convert the token, if necessary, to the format used by the card (e.g., from USDC to USDC.e). 4. Pay network fees (gas) and fees for services/“bridges” involved at each step. All these steps charge crypto fees, and these fees are deducted from the amount you are sending. 2. Why Did the Amount Drop So Much? In such operations, you basically pay three types of costs: 1. Network fee (gas) - Charged on each network where the transaction runs (e.g., Base and Gnosis). - Used to pay validators/miners who process your transactions. 2. Cross-network bridge fee - It's the “toll” to transport your balance from one network to another. 3. Conversion/swap fees - When the system needs to swap the token or adjust formats (USDC ↔ USDC.e), there may be minor fees and small conversion losses. The most important point: A large part of these fees is practically fixed. They cost almost the same whether you send 5 USDC or 500 USDC. Therefore, when you send a low amount, the “toll” is almost entirely paid with the amount sent — and very little may remain on the card. Hypothetical example: - Sent: 5 USDC on the Base network. - After all network + bridge + conversion fees, - Remaining: 0.90 USDC.e on the Gnosis network in the card balance. In other words: most of it was used to pay fees, it wasn't a calculation error by the card. If the amount sent was 500 USDC, the amount received would be 495.9 USDC.e (without significant capital loss). 3. How to Prevent This from Happening Again Some good practices for crypto deposits on the card: - Avoid very small amounts in cross-network operations Since fees have an almost fixed component, very low amounts end up being almost entirely consumed by costs. - Whenever possible, use the correct network from the start The card uses balance on a specific network (Gnosis), so it's worth having the balance on this network before sending. - Prefer simpler routes Whenever it's not essential to use cross-network crypto, it may be more efficient to: - Deposit via traditional methods (Pix) - Use Picnic's options to convert cryptos before loading the card, which removes some of the transaction complexity. 4. What Picnic Can Do - Help you understand where the amount was spent on fees. - Guide you on more efficient ways to make future deposits. 5. What Picnic Cannot Do - Refund network (gas) fees or fees from bridges/external providers. - Cancel or reverse transactions already confirmed on the blockchain. In summary: Picnic can explain and guide, but cannot recover what was paid in fees to the network or external services. How to Send Crypto to Picnic

Before transferring any amount, it's important to confirm if the token and the chosen network are compatible with the platform. This check prevents issues with accessing your balance. Step-by-Step for Crypto Deposit 1. Open Picnic and select Deposit from the main menu. 2. Choose the Crypto option. 3. Select the cryptocurrency and the network you want to use. 4. Carefully copy the address of your Picnic wallet displayed on the screen. 5. Go to your exchange or external wallet from which you intend to send the funds. 6. Paste the copied address into the withdrawal/send field and complete the operation. Important Precautions - Always check if the token and network used are the same as those displayed on Picnic. - If the transaction is made through an unsupported network, the amounts may become inaccessible. - This type of incorrect sending can result in the permanent loss of assets, as blockchain transactions are irreversible.
