My Pix deposit is coming back (banks with restrictions)

If you made a Pix deposit to Picnic and the amount came back to your account (the deposit didn't go through), this can happen because your sending bank is temporarily restricted from sending Pix to our payment partner.

When this happens, the Pix is returned by your own bank before it reaches us β€” so the money comes back automatically and the deposit never shows up in your Picnic account. It is not a charge or a hold: the money is returned to you in full.

Currently restricted banks

  • Caixa EconΓ΄mica Federal
  • Sicoob
  • Sicredi

This list can change β€” we keep it updated here whenever a bank's status changes.

What to do

Send the Pix from another bank under your own name (same account holder / CPF as your Picnic account). Banks like Nubank, Inter, ItaΓΊ, Bradesco and Banco do Brasil work normally.

Important: the Pix must come from an account under your own CPF. A Pix sent by a third party (spouse, family member, company) is rejected by regulation, regardless of the bank.

If your only account is with the restricted bank and you can't use another one, reach out via chat and we'll help you find the best alternative.
