Picnic was created to give you financial freedom without hidden fees. Understand how the costs work for depositing, spending, and converting your funds.
1. Dollar Deposit (ACH)
Picnic Fee: Zero. We do not charge you to receive dollars.
Origin Bank Fee: The bank from which you are sending the money (e.g., Wise, Chase, etc.) may charge its own fee for the transfer. Check with them before sending.
-
Small Processing Adjustment: To have the balance instantly available in your digital wallet, our processing technology may deduct a tiny fraction of cents (e.g., $0.0005) to cover network costs.
Tip: If you deposit $100.00, you might receive about $99.99. Keep this in mind if you need an exact amount for a specific purchase.
2. Card Usage
Zero fee for direct purchases anywhere in the world using your dollar balance.
3. Dollar Transfers (coming soon)
The sending fees are directly passed on from our banking partners:
Outgoing Transfer via ACH: $2.00.
Outgoing Transfer via Wire: $20.00.
4. Conversion to Real and Pix Withdrawal
If you decide to convert your dollars to reais for withdrawal via Pix, Picnic offers one of the most competitive rates in the market:
Smart Rate: We use a real-time market rate (onchain).
Withdrawal Cost: We apply a fee of only 0.5% on the rate.
-
The Difference: Since our base rate is often more advantageous than traditional banks, in practice, the amount that reaches your account is very close (and sometimes even higher) than the Commercial Dollar.
Summary: At Picnic, you avoid abusive bank fees. The amount you see on the conversion screen is exactly what will be deposited in your Pix, with no surprises.
