To withdraw and receive euros (EUR) on Picnic Pro, you need a Monerium account — our partner that issues digital euro (EURe) and provides you with a European IBAN in your name. Creating the account is free and takes just a few minutes.
Before you start
- Recent proof of address (electricity, water, internet bill, etc.).
- Valid photo ID (national ID, driver's license, or passport).
- Mobile phone with a camera for facial verification via QR code.
- Email address — preferably the same one you use for your Picnic account.
Step by step
-
Access your banking details: go to www.usepicnic.com, click the menu in the top-right corner, choose Security, then Bank details, select Euro and click Enable.
-
Start the account creation: click Create or connect Monerium account.
-
Sign up on Monerium: if you don't have an account yet, click Sign up free.
-
Fill in your sign-up details: preferably use the same email as your Picnic account. Create a password, select your country of origin, check the terms checkbox, and click Sign up.
-
Confirm your email and choose the account type: enter the code sent to your email. Then choose between Personal or Company.
-
Answer the US-related questions: select No on both questions if you don't reside in the United States and don't pay taxes there.
-
Fill in your address and phone number: provide your full residential address and phone number.
-
Complete the facial verification: continue the process on your phone by scanning the QR code shown on screen. The verification is quick and done through your phone's camera.
- Complete your financial information: enter the country where you pay taxes, your TIN — Tax Identification Number (equivalent to the CPF for Brazilian residents) — and the main reason for opening the account. To finish, declare whether the funds you'll move in euros come from your own sources and whether you (or any close family member) are or have been a politically exposed person.
Account approval
That's it, your sign-up is complete. Monerium's review usually takes just a few minutes and, in some cases, up to 1 business day. As soon as your account is approved, you can start withdrawing euros directly to your European bank account.
