This is the official reference for Picnic's fees. Use it whenever you want to know exactly what an operation costs — before you do it.
Picnic comes in two flavors:
- Picnic app — iPhone and Android. Built for everyday use: card management, deposits and withdrawals in reais, currency conversion.
-
Picnic Pro — web version (
usepicnic.com). Built for crypto and DeFi power users: direct access to your wallet, cross-chain swaps, and Protected Stash with more detail.
Most fees are identical across both. A few operations only exist on one — we mark these explicitly.
Every table separates Picnic fee (what we charge) from Other costs (network gas, intermediary banks, or partners outside Picnic). That way you know exactly where each cent goes.
Picnic app (mobile)
Picnic Visa card
| Operation | Picnic fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| Top up the card via PIX | 0% | Between 0.3% and 0.5% versus the onchain rate¹ |
| Withdraw from the card via PIX | 0% | Between 0.3% and 0.5% versus the onchain rate¹ |
| Top up the card via crypto (any network) | 0% | Crypto deposit provider's cost and conversion to the Gnosis Chain network |
| Card purchases in US dollars (USD) | 0% | — |
| Card purchases in other currencies (BRL, EUR, etc.) | 0% | ~0.3% Visa conversion fee |
| ATM withdrawal — up to 5 withdrawals or 200 USD per month (whichever first) | 0% | Local ATM operator may charge a fee |
| ATM withdrawal beyond that limit | 2% per withdrawal | Local ATM operator may charge a fee |
¹ The base quote we use is onchain (live market price) and tends to be very close to the official commercial dollar rate.
Card limits:
- Purchases: up to 8,000 USDCe/day, 5,000 USDCe per transaction.
- Contactless on the physical card: up to 50 USDCe without PIN.
- ATM: 500 USDCe/day, 250 USDCe per withdrawal.
💡 Travel tip. Always pay in the local currency of the merchant (real in Brazil, euro in Portugal, USD in the US). Accepting "pay in dollars" outside the US triggers the merchant's DCC and the spread is usually much worse than Visa's.
🎁 Active promotion. Buying digital dollars with PIX comes with zero spread and zero Picnic fee — you pay only the market price. Applies only to card top-ups. Details in the promotion terms.
Protected Stash (USDC/sDAI yield)
| Operation | Picnic fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit funds into the Stash | 0% | 0%, promotionally. |
| Withdraw funds from the Stash | 0% | 0%, promotionally. |
| Yield generated | Net | You receive the full yield shown in the Picnic interface. |
Costs are promotionally zeroed for a limited time.
Strategy details, risks and coverage in the Protected Stash Complete Guide.
US Dollars (USD)
| Operation | Picnic fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| ACH deposit (receive USD) | 0% | The sending bank (Wise, Chase, etc.) may charge its own fee |
| Processing adjustment (covers network cost) | 0% | up to US$ 0.0005 per deposit |
| ACH withdrawal to a US bank account | 0% | Variable per transaction (partner/bank) |
| Wire withdrawal to a US bank account | 0% | Variable per transaction (partner/bank) |
ACH receiving limits: US$ 10,000 per transaction (own or family accounts), US$ 5,000 per transaction (third-party), US$ 20,000 per month.
Picnic Pro (web — usepicnic.com)
In Picnic Pro, all your cryptocurrencies — including the stablecoins that work as dollar (USDC), real (BRLA) and euro (EURe) — are visible in the Portfolio section of your wallet. The tables below cover what you can do with them.
Most operations have the same fee as the app — some only exist here.
Same as the app
Card, Protected Stash and US dollars (USD) follow the same tables above — with one important exception:
- The withdrawal from the card via PIX (with USDC→BRL conversion baked in) is only available on the app. On the web version, this flow appears marked as "Available on app". To do the equivalent on the web, move your card balance to the Portfolio (free), swap USDC to BRLA in the Portfolio (0.1%), then withdraw BRLA via PIX (free).
Brazilian Reais (PIX) — web only
In Picnic Pro, your real balance lives as BRLA in your Portfolio. PIX deposits and withdrawals from that balance are direct, with no conversion.
| Operation | Picnic fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| PIX deposit → BRLA balance | 0% | — |
| PIX withdrawal from your BRLA balance | 0% | — |
Crypto (onchain movements) — web only
| Operation | Picnic fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| Receive crypto in your Picnic wallet | 0% | Network fee paid by the sender |
| Send crypto to another wallet (same network) | 0% | Picnic covers the network fee for you ✨ |
| Withdraw native Bitcoin (BTC) (via Deframe partner) | 0% Picnic | Deframe partner fee + Bitcoin network fee |
About sending to a different network. Picnic has no direct "cross-chain withdrawal". If you hold USDC on Polygon and want to send it to a wallet on Base, do this: first run a cross-chain swap (see the section below), then send same-network from the destination wallet — that withdrawal is free.
Euros (EUR) — web only
In Picnic Pro, your euro balance lives as EURe (a stablecoin pegged to the euro, via Monerium) in your Portfolio. SEPA deposits and withdrawals land 1:1 in the destination bank account.
| Operation | Picnic fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit via IBAN (SEPA) | 0% | — |
| Withdraw to a European bank account via IBAN (SEPA) | 0% | — |
Crypto swaps — web only
| Operation | Picnic fee | Other costs |
|---|---|---|
| Swap between assets on the same network (e.g. USDC ↔ BRLA on Polygon) | 0.1% | Network fee (gas) |
| Swap between different networks (e.g. USDC on Polygon → USDC on Base) | 0.25% | Network fee + aggregator spread |
💡 Why two rates? Same-network swaps use a simple DEX (Uniswap, CowSwap, etc.). Cross-network swaps have to traverse bridges (Bungee, Squid, Li.Fi, deBridge) — more infrastructure, higher fee.
If you want to send crypto to a different network, first do the cross-network swap (line above), then send same-network from the destination wallet — that withdrawal is free. Total: 0.25% Picnic + gas.

One-line summary
Deposits are always free. Withdrawals are free in BRL (from BRLA), in EUR (SEPA) and in same-network crypto (any network). USD ACH withdrawal has a variable bank fee. Crypto swaps have a small fee (0.1% same-network, 0.25% cross-network), and BRL→USDc is currently zero-fee under promotion.
Picnic does not charge IOF. We're not traditional FX — you're paying straight from your wallet in onchain dollars.
