**How it works**

The Referral Program is a **two-sided** benefit: both the person who refers and the person who is referred earn a **$10** bonus in their Picnic balance.

-   The referrer shares their unique personal link or code.
-   The referred friend signs up using that link/code and starts using the card.

Once the referred friend meets the requirements, **both of them receive $10 each** in their Picnic balance. In other words: whoever receives the referral link and opens their account through it **also earns $10** — it is not only the person who refers.

**Summary flow:**

-   You share your personal referral link;
-   Your friend registers using your link/code;
-   They add funds and make transactions with the card;
-   Once all requirements are completed, the $10 bonus is automatically credited to **both** — the referrer and the referred friend.

**Who receives the bonus**

-   **The referrer:** receives $10 when the referred friend completes all the requirements.
-   **The referred friend:** whoever received the referral link or code and signed up through it **also receives $10** upon completing the same requirements. You are not left out for being the invited one — the benefit applies to both sides.
-   More active and long-term Picnic card users have priority to receive this benefit and to generate new links.

**Requirements to release the bonus (applies to both sides)**

1.  The referred friend must register with the personal referral link or code;
2.  After registration, they must add funds to the Picnic account;
3.  They need to spend at least $50 with the card within 30 days of activation.

-   Note: Only after these three steps will the referral be considered valid and the $10 bonus released **for both the referrer and the referred friend**.

**Step-by-step to refer**

1.  Open the Picnic app and go to the Referrals section;
2.  Copy your personal invitation link or code;
3.  Send the link/code to your friends through your preferred channel;
4.  Ask them to sign up using your link and start using the card;
5.  Track the status of referrals directly in the Picnic app.

**Step-by-step for the referred friend**

1.  Open your account using the referral link or code you received;
2.  Add funds to your Picnic account;
3.  Spend at least $50 with the card within the first 30 days after activation;
4.  Once you meet the requirements, your $10 bonus is automatically credited to your Picnic balance.

**When the bonus is credited**

-   As soon as the referred friend completes all validation steps, the referral will be marked as completed;
-   The $10 bonus will be credited to the Picnic balance — **for both the referrer and the referred friend** — within 5 business days after confirmation;
-   The bonus amount will automatically appear in the card balance.

**Important notes**

-   The referral link is personal and non-transferable (it uniquely identifies that the invitation was made by you).
-   New links may be released with continuous and genuine use of the card.
-   The bonus may take a few business days to be credited after validation. Please wait before contacting support.
-   Referrals made outside of your personal link will not be considered.
-   The bonus amount and conditions may vary according to the referral campaign in effect at the time of sign-up.
