To ensure your cryptocurrencies safely reach your card, the Picnic app uses unique deposit addresses generated by Relay.

#### **What is a Unique Deposit Address**

Whenever you decide to add balance to your card via crypto, the app generates a unique address for that transaction. This address acts as a temporary bridge to instantly identify your deposit.

#### **Why You Shouldn't Reuse a Previous Address**

Do not save old deposit addresses in your external wallet. You should generate a new address for each transfer for these reasons:

- **Network Changes:** The old address may not be compatible if you switch the sending network (e.g., from Polygon to Base).

- **Fee Updates:** Relay calculates network fees in real-time for each new request.

- **Security:** Using a new address ensures our system identifies your balance without delays.

#### **Frequently Asked Questions**

**What happens if I send a coin to the wrong network?** Deposits made on different networks usually result in permanent loss of assets. If this happens, contact our support immediately.

**I sent unsupported coins or NFTs. What happens?** Currently, we do not support the recovery of unlisted coins or NFTs sent to the deposit address.

**I sent a different amount than I entered in the app. What happens?** Don't worry. Relay identifies the exact amount received and processes the deposit automatically based on that amount.
